Snerdware LLC has released
Groupcal Viewer, its third utility to help Mac users integrate with Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 and 2003 environments.
Designed as an alternative to Snerdware’s own full-featured
Groupcal software, Groupcal Viewer enables iCal users to view other users’ Exchange calendars, but not publish their own (or view Free/Busy time).
The viewer resides locally on the user’s Mac and is transparent to both Mac OS X and Exchange, according to Snerdware. Calendars can be viewed online or offline in iCal. And they can also be published on iPods, PDAs and other devices when iSync is used.
Groupcal Viewer costs US$30 for a single user license, with multi-user license packs also available. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.8 and iCal 1.5.1, as well as a valid Exchange e-mail account.
