Casio added to its digital camera line during the Photo Marketing Association trade show in Las Vegas with the introduction of the 6 megapixel Exilim Pro EX-P600, which can shoot images as larger as 2816 x 2112 pixels.
The EX-P600 features a 4x optical, 4x digital zoom lens, a high-speed continuous shutter function capable of 3 photos per second, the ability to set variations of exposure, white balance and focus position with one press of the shutter, and more. You can use it to shoot movies at 320 x 240 pixels, with or without audio, and record audio clips up to 30 seconds in length to accompany your snapshots.
It comes with approximately 9MB of built-in memory; you can add more in the memory card slot, which supports the SD and MultiMedia formats. The EX-P600 also offers a self-timer, 7 fixed white balance modes, and flash with red eye reduction.
Casio expects to ship the Exilim Pro EX-P600 in April with a US$649.99 suggested retail price. It will come with a Lithium Ion rechargeable battery, a battery charger, a card remote control, USB and AV cables, and a strap.
