REAL Software Inc.’s REAL World 2004 conference is only a month and a half away, and the company has announced the call for entries for this year’s REALbasic Design Awards. The deadline is March 12, 2004.
REAL Software makes REALbasic, the cross-platform design environment that lets users make their own software. The company’s REAL World 2004 is a three-day event highlighting information and seminars regarding the development technology. The REALbasic Design Awards are one of the highlights of REAL World; developers who craft software in REALbasic and win are awarded prizes.
Categories to be awarded in this year’s REALbasic Design Awards include Best Overall, Best Business Software, Best Cross-Platform Software, Best Educational Software, Best Entertainment Software and Best Developer Tool. The judges will use criteria including creativity, ease of use, design, utility and best use of REALbasic technologies.
This year’s winners will receive a recognition gift, the right to use the award logo in their marketing materials, and a “Select” level membership in the REALbasic Developer Program.
