The Iconfactory has updated its system monitoring utility iPulse to version 2.0.2, and it’s now available for download from the iPulse homepage. iPulse provides detailed information about your Macintosh’s operating conditions, all in a unique interface.
This new release adds monitoring for motherboard temperature and bandwidth usage, as well as a neat hack for users of Griffin Technology’s rotary controller, the PowerMate. The PowerMate features a lit base, and this update to iPulse will pulse the base of your PowerMate in correlation with your Mac’s CPU usage.
iPulse costs US$12.95 to register. This update is free for registered users.
