Marathon Computer announced recently that their G5 Rackmount, which allows you to mount one or two Power Mac G5s against a wall and keep them out of the way, is available for pre-order now and will begin shipping in mid-March. Retail is $199.
The G5 Rackmount is constructed of heavy-duty aircraft aluminum and features locks that grip the G5’s curved handles and hold them firmly in place. It can hold a single G5 on either side or in the center, or it can hold two G5s side by side. Its steel rear supports can adjust to fit rack depths from 19 to 34 inches.
The G5 Rackmount comes with illustrated instructions for easy assembly. Marathon also offers a wide variety of other mounting solutions for desktop Macs, displays, and Xserve.
