SubRosaSoft recently introduced FTPDroplet II, an update to FTPDroplet that adds new features to make uploading files to Web servers even easier. It offers drag-and-drop simplicity for file transfers; you only have to drag a file to its icon once FTPDroplet is installed and your preferences are configured.
Version II includes the ability to mirror a folder on your hard drive; it automatically grabs any new files added to it and uploads them to your server. It can also copy the URL for files being uploaded to your clipboard, speeding up the process if you need to paste that URL elsewhere. And if you’re concerned about security, FTPDroplet II can hide and lock its preferences to that others can’t modify them.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v.10.2 (Jaguar) or higher. You can download FTPDroplet II from the SubRosaSoft Web site and try it out indefinitely. A single license is US414.95; add $25 for a site license.
