on Tuesday announced the release of a Mac OS X version of their graphical adventure game
Riddle of the Sphinx II: The Omega Stone.
In Riddle of the Sphinx II, players must prevent an disaster foretold by prophecy. They’ll travel to Stonehenge, Easter Island and the Lost City of Atlantis to uncover ancient mysteries. Riddle of the Sphinx II features more than 50 hours of gameplay complete with full-screen video cut-scenes, real-time animation, 360-degree camera and more.
The Adventure Company contracted the Mac OS X porting work to Transgaming Technologies. Transgaming has worked with Aspyr Media Inc. on past conversions of games including Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb and SpyHunter. The game was originally developed for the PC by Omni Adventures LLC.
Rated E for Everyone by the ESRB, Riddle of the Sphinx II costs US$30. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2.6 or higher, a G3/600MHz or faster, 128MB RAM, Nvidia GeForce2 MX or ATI Radeon 7500 or better 3D graphics, 1GB of hard disk space.
