SiK Inc. has released its din for iPod. It’s a new cable compatible with Dock Connector-equipped iPods and iPod minis that offers a six-pin FireWire port and line-level audio output on a pair of seven-inch cables.
The din is intended to provide iPod and iPod mini users with a way to charge their devices, sync, and run audio to a stereo, powered speakers, amplifier or other audio devices without having to rely on Apple’s iPod dock.
SiK said that the din cable is shipping now from the SiK store and from participating resellers. It costs US$21.95.
