Desktop publishing company Quark Inc. on Thursday announced that it has restructured and expanded its QuarkAlliance programs. The company has developed QuarkAlliance programs for hardware and software developers who create add-ons for Quark products and many others.
QuarkAlliance director Jay Wortham said that Quark sees its partners as resources for customers. “Our goal is to provide an array of programs that meet the needs of our customers and our partners. Our new, multi-tiered programs were designed to suit the needs of a wide variety of partners of different sizes, so each QuarkAlliance partner can have a direct relationship with Quark through a dedicated program specialist.”
QuarkAlliance members are encouraged to participate in co-marketing plans, gain access to pre-release software, discounts and other benefits, according to Quark.
Customers who are eligible to participate in the QuarkAlliance programs include XTension developers, output providers, training providers, system integrators, resellers of QuarkXPress, technology providers, sales consultants and service consultants. Quark said it also plans to expand the scope of QuarkAlliance further “to each community of partners.”
