Apple’s Hot Deals Web site features specials from Mac hardware and software resellers, and occasionally from Apple itself. Today’s updates include deals available from the Apple Store directly.
The Apple Store features special pricing on a limited supply of brand new, unopened 10 and 30GB iPods. The 10GB iPod is priced at $249, down $50 from its original price and the same price as a new 4GB iPod mini. The 30GB iPod costs $449, $50 less than its original price. Both third-generation dock connector-equipped models were discontinued earlier this year in favor of 15GB and 40GB models.
The Apple Store is also offering special prices on refurbished products like the Xserve G4 starting at $2,499, 12-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch PowerBook G4s starting at $1,049, Power Mac G5 dual 2.0GHz starting at $2,399, as well as eMacs, iMacs, iBooks and more.
All refurbished hardware includes Apple’s one-year limited warranty, and any of the items listed here is eligible for an AppleCare Protection Plan to extend warranty coverage even further.
