On Monday, Sharp Systems of America added to the slew of new monitors introduced recently with the announcement of the LL-T15G4, a 15-inch XGA LCD monitor capable of 1024 x 768 resolution, with 260-nit brightness and a 350:1 contrast ratio.
The LL-T15G4 also features a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees horizontal and 135 degrees vertical, built-in speakers, and three viewing modes: Office, which lowers the brightness but reduces power consumption; Vivid, for photo-realistic images; and Standard, which uses the original sRGB standard for LCD monitors. The included ICC Profile software is capable of color matching in ICC profile-compatible applications.
Two connectors — an analog mini D-sub 15-pin and a DVI-D that handle analog and digital video signals respectively — allow you to share the monitor between two computers or use it with different types of video cards. A mini-stereo jack allows you to plug in a pair of headphones without fumbling for your Mac’s port.
The LL-T15G4 is available now in black or ivory with an estimated retail price of US$399.
