recently announced the release of
FileMaker Business Tracker, a solution that showcases the new features and functions available in
FileMaker Pro 7, which the company
on March 9.
Business Tracker integrates a wide variety of critical business tasks in one database solution, including: creating and tracking sales; tracking contacts, co-workers, and other companies; storing product information; managing and printing invoices and packing slips; and viewing specific reports simply by clicking a button.
“We developed FileMaker Business Tracker in order to give new FileMaker users a solution they can start with quickly, and advanced FileMaker users a solution they can learn from and easily modify,” said Ryan Rosenberg, vice president of Marketing and Services for the company.
FileMaker also encourages users to “look under the hood” of Business Tracker and learn about the new FileMaker Pro 7 functionality built into it, including: multiple tables per file; script parameters; color calculations; and alternate row shading in portals. Once you’ve modified it to suit your particular needs, you can share it with anyone who’s running FileMaker Pro 7.
