Adobe recently put out an update to their print publishing tool InDesign CS (Creative Suite) that brings the application to version 3.0.1. The upgrade fixes a number of issues, including broken hyperlinks within a book after it has been exported to a PDF file, imprecise constraint when shift-dragging an anchor point on a page item, and more.
Adobe also notes an odd bug that causes InDesign CS to launch when clicking the Mail button in MSN Messenger on Mac OS X v.10.2.x “Jaguar.” The company says that after you install InDesign CS 3.0.1, you will need to click that button as many as three times to fix the issue.
On the page with the InDesign update, there’s a link to a PDF that details all the bug fixes.
InDesign CS requires a Power PC G3, G4, or G5 processor, Mac OS X v.10.2 “Jaguar” or higher, 350MB free hard drive space, and 128MB RAM.
