Later this month, IT professionals and others will gather in Orlando, Fla. to attend MySQL Users Conference & Expo. Apple will be there; the company is an exhibitor and a “Platinum Sponsor,” and will be the focus of several conference sessions. MySQL is the open source database used on multiple platforms and included with Mac OS X Server. The conference will bring announcements and introductions of new products designed to work with MySQL.
Over 100 sessions will be presented at this year’s event. Mac-centric sessions include Administering Apple Xserves; Open Source for the Masses: Lessons for MySQL from Mac OS, presented by Dr. Ernest Prabhakar from Apple’s Darwin team; and Setting up EAC on Mac OS X (EAC is a clustering software application from EMIC Networks).
MySQL Users Conference & Expo happens April 14-16, 2004 at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando.
Apple’s own Worldwide Developers Conference will give IT developers another opportunity to find out more about MySQL and other technology. Visit the Web page and check the Enterprise IT Conference Session track details for more information.
