The InDesign Conference, dedicated to Adobe’s InDesign page layout software, is coming to Boston, Mass. this summer. The three-day conference will offer attendees information presented by InDesign experts, authors, trainers and third-party developers.
Author David Blatner has been appointed Program Chair for the show; others lined up to present include RIT professor Frank Romano, TechArt Int’l founder Diane Burns, Adobe evangelist Tim Cole, Adobe Principal Scientist Dov Isaacs, author Sandee Cohen, Creativepro.com Editor-in-Chief Pamela Pfiffner, Claudia McCue, Olav Martin Kvern and others.
Sessions are being offered for everyone from InDesign novices to experts. Sessions run the gamut from general tips and tricks to creating and managing tables, successful printing, and working with color. Some information about what’s being presented has already been posted to the Web site, and the conference’s producer will post a full schedule of sessions in a forthcoming announcement.
Although not related to this summer’s Macworld Conference & Expo in Boston, the InDesign Conference happens almost at the same time — Macworld Expo runs from July 12 – 15, 2004, while the InDesign Conference runs from July 15 – 17, 2004. The two events occur close within close proximity to each other, as well: Macworld Expo will take place at the new Boston Convention Center, while The InDesign Conference is happening at Boston’s Seaport Hotel, which is located in the same vicinity.
