SubRosaSoft.com Ltd. on Wednesday introduced MP3Restore 1.0, a new software utility that it says can recover accidentally erased songs from MP3 players and other media, including your hard disk.
The software works with most MP3 players and most hard drives, according to the developer, although some MP3 player software apps securely delete files. A fully-functioning demo version is available if you’d like to give it a try before paying the US$25 registration fee.
MP3Restore has been localized in German, French, Spanish, Chinese and English; Dutch, Japanese and Te Reo versions will follow. MP3Restore requires Mac OS X v10.2 “Jaguar” or higher.
MP3Restore’s release has been announced along with a new bundle pack of SubRosaSoft’s Restore software, which includes MP3Restore, FlashRestore (used for recovering accidentally deleted image files from flash media) and CDRestore (used for recovering scratched and damaged CDs and DVDs). The Restore Bundle costs about $50.
