Developer DigitalScores has announced the release of 3D Matrix 1.5, a new version of their 3D modeling environment that adds an XML file format, multi-step undo and redo, new polygon optimization tools, an enhanced user interface and more. You can use it as a stand-alone tool or as a utility that complements other applications; it can create a wide variety of 3D models for use in simulations, animations, or games.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v.10.1.x or higher. A free Lite Edition of 3D Matrix is available for download from the DigitalScores Web site; it’s limited by a reduced polygon count. The Standard Edition is US$299, or $79 for students.
