I was conversing with a colleague this morning and during the course of that conversation she revealed that she had tossed an older version of a file we were working on but now needed a copy of that file. She asked if I could email it to her.
“We’re talking about the file you emailed to me on Monday?” I enquired.
“Right,” she replied, “the version previous to the one you saw today.”
“Check your Sent Items mailbox,” I offered. “When I toss a file I’ve attached to an email message and later wish I hadn’t, I know my email client holds a copy in its database. Just open the message with the attachment you desire and drag the attachment to the Desktop to make a copy.”
