In keeping with my last blog entry about Unix applications coming to Mac OS X, I thought I would mention the release of StellarDNS.
Mac OS X Server includes a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the maintenance of its Domain Name Server (DNS), although it’s not as nice looking as some of the third-party utilities available from shareware developers. Mac OS X client includes the same underpinnings to run a DNS server but does not include a GUI for configuration — it must be done from the command line, a daunting task for most Mac users.
StellarDNS adds a GUI interface to DNS that can be used with Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3 client or Server. A nice looking Cocoa application for the Mac community.
