We got our first iPod Minis today. Three, in fact — two blue and one silver. First impression? Everyone was amazed at just how small they are. You don’t realize how small and light the Mini is until you’ve held it in your hand. People with smaller hands (including several women on the
Macworld
staff) found that it was much more comfortable to hold the iPod Mini than the regular iPod.
I’m sure that our own Christopher Breen will be weighing in soon on the Mini, but just to confirm for the iPod hackers out there: the secret diagnostic menu of the iPod Mini that
he reported about in early January
is still available in the production versions of the Mini. It’s changed slightly, but it’s still there.
