Macworld Conference & Expo returns to Boston from July 12 – 15, 2004, at the new Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Recently the show’s producer, IDG World Expo, highlighted some of the events planned for this summer’s show.
This summer’s Pro Conference will feature five tracks concentration on Mac OS X Troubleshooting; Mac OS X Administration; Securing Your Data; Mac Secrets; and Extending Mac OS X & Platform Differentiators. That’s in addition to the Power Tools conferences, Users Conference and Hands-on MacLabs planned for the show — you can get more details about the conference schedule from the Macworld Expo WEb site.
The Geeks & Gadgets Stage is a new addition to Macworld Expo, and it’s a showcase for cutting-edge uses of Macintosh technologies. The sessions are open to all registered attendees, and include Berklee College of Music Presents: The All-Mac Techno Rave Ensemble; The Mac-controlled Home; Your Mac is a Telephone (and other Communication Secrets) and Mac Video Magic Makes TV Better. It’s also where Macworld Town Hall will make its Boston return, and Cool Resources Created by Mac User Groups.
