Macworld Conference & Expo returns to Boston next week, and the event’s producer on Tuesday provided a preview of new products that will be on display at the show.
@Last Software will show SketchUp 4.0, a major new version of their 3D design software. Avail Solutions with show Integrity, its recently announced backup and recovery software for Mac OS X Servers. Battery Technology Inc. (BTI) will show the iPod Battery, which offers up to 40 hours per charge. Hash Inc. will show Animation: Master for Mac OS X, its 3D character animation software. iScienceProject will demonstrate the HOBO Henry Science Kit, a data logger-based science learning kit for students in grades K-6. Logitech Harmony Remote will show off the Logitech Harmony 688 Remote, a remote control that uses connectivity to the Mac and an Internet database to integrate with IR-based home entertainment devices.
Parliant Corp. will show the new PhoneValet Message Center, a telephony solution that turns your Mac into a voice mail and call recording system. PhotoVu will show its new PV1910 digital wireless picture frame. PowerFX will show two new Apple Loops Disc Jams series, the SoundShuttle Audio Unit (AU) plug-in, and Miracle Beats, a sample CD and AU instrument. Primera Technology will show the Bravo II Disc Publisher, a CD and DVD burning and printing solution. Redstone Software will show Eggplant, a test automation tool. Spec Products will introduce the SkinTight Armband for the iPod mini. and Spymac Network Inc. will launch Wheel, a US$39 service that provides e-mail, iCal and Web page hosting and more.
