Toshiba on Tuesday introduced the TLP-S71U, a new $1,700 digital projector compatible with PCs, Macs and other video sources that also includes a detachable document camera.
The TLP-S71U displays images at 2,000 ANSI lumens with a 400:1 contrast ratio and features native SVGA (800×600 pixel) resolution. It sports composite and S-Video inputs and a mini D-sub 15 pin (VGA) interface. The document camera unclips from the projector and enables presenters to show photo samples, printed material or other content that doesn’t come from a video or computer source.
