As promised, Aspyr Media Inc. has released an update to its demo version of Command & Conquer: Generals, released last week. The demo addresses an issue with Power Mac G4 systems equipped with ATI Radeon 9000 graphics cards, addresses multiple monitor cursor controls and increases performance of in-game movies.
Command & Conquer: Generals is Aspyr’s just-released Macintosh conversion of the popular PC strategy game originally published by Electronic Arts. It’s the first Command & Conquer game to reach the Mac market since the original Command & Conquer was released in the late 1990s. The game puts players in control of one of three different near-future factions vying for world domination: The United States, China and the Global Liberation Army. The demo version allows players to give each side a try.
