Qualcomm has updated their Eudora e-mail client to version 6.1. The new edition adds a statistical view to its SpamWatch filter, an integrated Google Web search function called WebWords, Profile Control to the Content Concentrator e-mail thread view, advanced matching in the contextual filing feature, simple import of your Mac OS X address book and more.
SpamWatch is available only in Eudora’s paid mode, which is US$49.95 for new users. Upgrades from version 6.0 are free if purchased within the last 12 months or $39.95 if purchased before then. Paid mode also includes 12 months of free upgrades and technical support. The free version of Eudora 6.1 comes in two flavors: sponsored and light modes. The former places an ad window and up to three sponsored toolbar links in the application; the latter removes the ads but drops features.
