Apple has released an update to its Final Cut Express video editing software to version 2.0.3. The new version corrects a problem with incomplete capture from some cameras and improves QuickTime movie export when there’s a blank video in a sequence.
Final Cut Express uses a similar interface as Apple’s Final Cut Pro software, but offers a streamlined feature set more aimed at “prosumers” and business video users for whom a thousand-dollar video editing software tool may be too much. The new release is available for download through the Software Update System Preference pane; more details are available from the Web site.
