on Monday released Cumulus 6.0.2, an update to its Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution for Mac OS X and Windows. The new version enhances stability and performance and adds new features — including some features that were excised in earlier releases but have been re-introduced in this version.
Palette Mode is back, and printing of records, categories and previews (based on the View Set) is available again. New Preferences have been added for Print, Search and Display functions. Other changes including assigning and detaching selected categories, merging categories, modifying volume identifier, preparing catalogs for EXIF and for IPTC, and Find and Replace for metadata stored on an asset.
A QuarkXPress filter is now available for Mac OS X. Preinstalled with all Single User and Client versions of Cumulus for Mac OS X is QXP AssetStore. PowerPoint support modules are now available on Mac OS X.
Updates for existing 6.0.x installations are free. You’ll need to enter your serial number to
download the update.
