Disney and Pixar may be parting company, but Apple and Walt Disney Records just announced a new partnership. On Wednesday the companies indicated that iTunes Music Store will be the exclusive digital music catalog of Walt Disney soundtracks through September 30th. iTunes Music Store users can access the soundtracks through a new “Disney” genre page.
The genre page includes links to classic soundtracks from classic Disney movies like Mary Poppins, Pinocchio and the Jungle Book, as well as more recent offerings like Disney/Pixar productions including Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Finding Nemo.
The new Disney genre page doesn’t limit itself only to movie soundtracks, either. The page is replete with links to Disney Storyteller Series audiobooks, Baby Einstein compilations, greatest hits collections and more.
