Mireth Technology unveiled iVCD 2.0 on Tuesday, a new version of their application for authoring Video CDs and Super Video CDs. The update adds the ability to include menus and playlists in Video CDs, a preview mode for encoded MPEG and more.
System requirements call for a G3 or better processor (G4 recommended) and Mac OS X v.10.2 “Jaguar” or higher (Mac OS X v.10.3 “Panther” recommended). A demo is available for download from the Mireth Web site. It overlays a watermark on the video files it generates until you purchase a US$29.95 license. Upgrades from iVCD 1.x are $14.95.
