Small Tree Communications on Tuesday announced support for its 10Gb, 64-bit capable, PCI-X Ethernet cards on the Mac. The cards are targeted at high performance video applications, media and file services, where the Gigabit Ethernet speeds on high-end Macs aren’t fast enough. Small Tree sells the cards for US$4,770 each.
