Inventive Inc. announced on Monday that iClip 3, the new version of its clipboard tool, is now available. The new version adds pop-up previews that allow you to easily view the contents of a clipping, the ability to store file aliases, a clip naming function and new action buttons that enable quick access to clipping functions. iClip runs in a floating window on the desktop and allows you to store and retrieve text, URLs, pictures, movies and more in multiple bins that can be arranged in groups. The new version is a free upgrade for registered users of any previous version — the full edition is US$19.95. The update and demo, which require Mac OS X v.10.2 or higher, is available for download from the Inventive Web site.
