W Hotels has initiated a new promotion called iTunes Days — monthly events at select W Hotels around the country that encourage W guests to “mix it up in a digital soundscape” as they listen to iPod-equipped DJs, get iTunes CDs with free iTunes music downloads (while they last), drink “AppleiTinis” and get chances to win iPods and iMacs.
Events are scheduled for evenings in June, July and August at W Hotels in Chicago, New York City and San Francisco. The iTunes Days promotion dovetails with W Hotels’ Wired Wonderland package, which offers guests high-speed Internet access, three iTunes music downloads, a Wired magazine subscription and other benefits, available now through August, 2004. What’s more, W Hotels has published the Wonderland Collection, a set of iTunes playlists that will be updated monthly with new tracks.
