Iomega Corp. on Monday introduced two new Network Attached Storage (NAS) servers aimed at small and medium-sized businesses: The Iomega NAS 200d Series 320GB and NAS 200d Series 480GB. Based on Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003, the devices provide support for Mac, Windows, Linux, Unix and Netware clients, and employ Serial ATA (SATA) interfaces. The 200d 480GB model can also be configured in RAID 1 or 5 configurations, and features four USB 2.0 ports and 1 Ultra SCSI 320 port to attach external backup devices. Both systems are expected to ship in June; the 320GB model will cost US$1,399 while the 480GB model will cost $1,999.
