Perceptive Automation has released an update to Indigo, its home control server software for Mac OS X. Indigo works hand-in-hand with X10 hardware devices to enable Mac users to automate their homes — turn lights on and off, activate appliances, set sprinkler systems and more.
The new release, v1.5, adds support for Smarthome’s new PowerLinc Controller (model 1132CU) that enables users to upload instructions without needing to leave their Mac on all the time. Also new to this release is improved AppleScript support, better reliability and performance and other changes. Indigo costs US$89.95, and v1.5 is a free update for registered users. It requires Mac OS X v10.2.6 or higher and a compatible X10 interface.
