ViewSonic Corp. on Tuesday announced two new slim bezel LCD displays to its VX Series lineup, the VX510 and the VX715. Both new displays are aimed at business users, according to the company. The 15-inch VX510 costs US$425 and features 1024×768 resolution, 250 nits of brightness and a 450:1 contrast ratio; the 17-inch VX715 costs $525 and features 1280×1024 resolution, 300 nits of brightness and 450:1 contrast ratio.
Both displays are set in black bezels with silver accents and feature an elevated neck design. The VX715 also sports “ClearMotiv” technology, which ViewSonic said aids in compatibility with displaying 720p-format high definition video. The VX715 also has VGA and DVI video connections.
