CMS Products, Inc. announced on Tuesday that its line of ABSplus backup solutions for Mac are now cheaper, with reductions of 15 to 25 percent. Prices are now US$229 for the 20GB model, $259 for 40GB, $319 for 60GB and $399 for 80GB. Each one comes with the company’s BounceBack Professional software, which automates backup and recovery, synchronization between multiple hard drives, scheduled backups and more. The backup hardware features FireWire connectivity and can boot your Mac directly. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.1 or higher. Through June 30, CMS is also offering 15 percent off all Macintosh backup solutions purchased through its online store with a code found on its Web site.
