IMSI subsidiary Aladdin Systems Inc. has released Internet Cleanup 2.0, a new version of the privacy tool that can block and delete data from your Mac used by Internet applications that potentially can be abused. New features in this release include Network SpyAlert, which stops programs from sending data without your permission; Instant Messenger Log Cleaner; the ability to block unwanted cookies; “Spyware” detection; simplified e-mail management; secure file deletion and more. Internet Cleanup 2.0 costs US$29.99, and upgrades from version 1 cost $19.99. Internet Cleanup 2.0 requires Mac OS X v10.2 and higher.
