Mekanica Software announced on Thursday the release of Formation 1.0, an organizer that assembles contact information, a calendar, media browsers, a scrapbook, lists, notes and more in one place. It’s capable of tasks ranging from tracking a CD collection to managing user names and passwords to making a grocery list. Formation comes with a built-in dictionary and allows you to browse images as well as play video and audio files. It requires Mac OS X v10.2 or higher and will run in demo mode, with a limit of 10 topics and 30 items, until you pay the US$29 license fee.
