Chaotic Software announced on Tuesday the release of
Media Rage, a new application that assists with the editing and organizing of music files in AAC, MP3 and Ogg Vorbis formats. It features support for reading and writing of Unicode data, easy finding and trashing of duplicate files, a catalog creator, a media scrubber, a song player, the ability to modify files in batches and more. Owners of Chaotic’s MP3 Rage software can upgrade to Media Rage for US$9.95, while new users can purchase the full version for $19.95. The application requires Mac OS X v10.2 or higher and can be used for 15 days on a trial basis before you have to buy it.
