QuickerTek Inc. on Monday announced the availability of an external antenna kit for Power Mac G4 series computers. The antennas work across the complete Power Mac G4 model range and costs US$79.95. The company claims with its whip antenna installed, Power Mac G4 users can realize a doubling or tripling of effective wireless networking range depending on their installation’s physical layout. The antenna kit works with all AirPort and AirPort Extreme cards, and comes with illustration instructions and all necessary hardware.
