Borland Software announced at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference that it will support Mac OS X in the next release of Optimizeit Suite, its tool that helps Java developers isolate and remove problems with their code. Optimizeit features memory and CPU profiling, thread and code coverage analysis, progress tracking and more. It can track problems directly to the offending line of source code and it can detect memory leaks or analyze the quality of an application’s code. Borland did not say when the next version of Optimizeit will ship, nor did it disclose pricing or system requirements.
