Versora announced on Wednesday the release of Progression Web, which helps administrators move their Web sites from Microsoft IIS Web servers to Apache, an open-source Web server platform that’s part of Mac OS X Server, Novell Suse Linux and Red Hat Linux. Progression Web automatically moves documents, database connections and security and configuration settings to a server running Apache 1.3x or 2.0 on Mac OS X Server v10.2 or higher. Licensing starts at US$279 for one to nine copies, with price breaks at 10, 20, 30 and 40 copies.
