Etymotic Research Inc. used this week’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) to introduce its 6i Isolator Earphones, designed especially for use with Apple’s iPod. The new US$149 headphones are expected to ship in July. Similar in design to Etymotic’s popular ER-6 model, the 6i earphones are in-ear headphones that have been molded in white to complement Apple’s iPod. The 6i comes with additional eartips, extra filters and a small carrying case.
