Epson America Inc. announced on Monday the introduction of a new digital camera, the PhotoPC L-410, which includes a 4 megapixel CCD sensor, 3x optical and 3x digital zoom, a 1.5-inch LCD screen, continuous shooting of up to three photos per second and a new feature called Print Image Framer. The last option allows you to add one of over 100 frames to any image before or after you take it, without connecting the camera to a computer. When the L-410 ships in late July, it will carry an estimated retail price of US$399 and will come with 16MB of built-in memory, with support for SecureDigital memory cards up to 512MB, and one CR-V3 battery. The camera also accepts two AA alkaline, Ni-Cd or NiMH batteries. As MacCentral posted this article, a product page was not yet available on the Epson Web site.
