Addonics Technologies announced the release of its new MFR DVD+/-R/RW, a 25-in-1 multi-function recorder that can take data from your Mac or one of 11 types of Flash memory media and burn it to a CD-RW or DVD; connect to a computer, TV or projector and display the contents of Flash media, a CD or a DVD; write data to Flash media; or act as a standalone MP3 player. It connects to your Mac via USB 2.0 and features S-Video and standard video outputs for TV and projector hookups, as well as a remote control for navigating through DVD movies or digital images when used with a TV. Support for Flash media includes Compact Flash-I/II, Memory Stick and its Pro, Duo and Pro Duo variants, SD, SM, MD, MMC and xD Card.
The MFR DVD+/-R/RW offers up to two-and-a-half hours of use with its rechargeable battery pack and comes with a carrying case, remote control, three-foot USB 2.0 cable, combo A/V cable, S-Video cable, 110/220v power adapter and two blank CD-R discs. It measures 6.6×5.4×1.3 inches and weighs one-and-a-half pounds. Pricing is US$319.99, and the device works with Mac OS X v10.1.3 or higher.
