More than 1,400 college students from the US, UK and Canada competed in the fourth annual Adobe Design Achievement Awards, sponsored by Adobe Systems Inc., and now the company has announced the winners. The program recognizes talented student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators and digital filmmakers who use the latest Adobe products to show off their skills.
Five different categories of awards were given out this year: Group Print Collaboration, Print, Illustration, Photography and Time-Based Media. Winners received cash and Adobe products along with a trip to San Francisco, Calif. to attend the awards ceremony, held on Thursday night at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.
The list of winners and their entries have been posted to Adobe’s Web site — time-based entries are encoded in QuickTime. You can also view the judges in action in a QuickTime movie, or review winners from past years.
