Runtime Labs has released MacSQL 3.0, the company announced on Friday. The application offers a graphical user interface (GUI) for interacting with SQL databases, and the new version includes a rewritten GUI, a query drawer for saving and organizing frequently used queries, a visual query editor for building SELECT queries, the ability to add or edit users and their privileges when used with Oracle or MySQL and more. In addition, the WebScript Assistant, which employs AppleScript, features new templates and now supports HTML 4.0.
Upgrades from previous versions of MacSQL are US$149, with a $50 discount available until Aug. 12, and full copies are $249. You can also purchase a Lite version with limited features for $99 and download a demo that has full functionality, except the ability to save documents, and will launch up to 20 times over a 60-day period. MacSQL 3.0 requires Mac OS X v10.3.
