Aspyr Media Inc. will publish True Crime: Streets of L.A. for Macintosh later this year, the company announced on Monday. The title is licensed by Activision and under development at Trihedron. In the game, a vicious crime wave forces players to drive, fight and shoot their way through 240 square miles of Los Angeles. With stealth techniques, martial arts moves and impressive new weapons, you must bust drug dealers, shakedown informants and confront gang members to get the job done. Preliminary system requirements call for Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later; PowerPC G4/G5, 867 MHz or faster; 256MB of RAM; 2GB free disk space; 3D Graphics Acceleration required (ATI Radeon 8500/nVidia GeForce 2 or better); 32MB of Video Ram (VRAM); DVD drive required to install and play. True Crime: Streets of L.A. is expected to ship in November.
