The digital 4-watt amplifier works with four AA batteries for up to 24 hours. The iMmini sports a front-mounted docking bay and can be used with other audio devices with an included 3.5mm auxiliary input cable. An AC power supply is also included. Altec lansing expects the iMmini to ship “in late summer.” It will be available through Apple retail store locations and through Apple’s online store as well.
