SonicEmulations Inc. on Wednesday announced the availability of two new Apple Loops collections from its Bandmateloops.com Web site. Both collections are designed to work with Apple’s GarageBand software and will also work with Soundtrack. Groovebox is a “collection of highly organic beats” that are created to work well in rap, hip-hop and cross-genre environments, while Brown Out is a collection developed to sound “a little more electric and a little more abstract;” it’s a set of acoustic grooves in breakbeat style. You can download either collection for US$9.95.
